Located in the Thar desert of Rajasthan, The 530 years (1486 A.D) old walled city of Bikaner is a dense urban settlement with narrow streets, opulently decorated courtyard houses (known as havelis, which characterize the historic center of the city), winding lanes, traditional bazaars and colourful handicraft. Through our carefully designed "Heritage Walk" we aim to observe all the diverse and varied architecture, its art, old religious places, living craft and culture.
A special feature of Bikaner is the vibrant old city, comprising numerous Havelis, Prols (self-contained neighborhoods), Chowks (squares) and Chabutras (for feeding birds). Besides the featured walking tours, we also arrange theme-based walk i.e. Food Walk, Handicraft Walk, Photographer walk, Music walk.
